Indian Languages Reclist Generator

Notes:
  • Nasal clusters are transcribed with <n> but should be pronounced with the proper allophone, e.g. <nk> = /ŋk/, <nb> = /mb/. The exception is Meitei where nasal clusters need not be homorganic.
  • Tones are ignored. (Punjabi, Dogri, Meitei, Boro)
  • An Assamese or Bodo voicebank cannot accommodate other languages due to some unique features: <u>=/ʊ/ or /ɯ/ respectively, and <uu>=/u/. And because the <t> series is alveolar, not dental or retroflex. Adding compatible distinctions for all these in the phoneme bank would make things too complicated.
  • Kashmiri's palatalised consonants are approximated as clusters with <y>, which require the "handpicked clusters" option.
