Nasal clusters are transcribed with <n> but should be pronounced with the proper allophone, e.g. <nk> = /ŋk/, <nb> = /mb/. The exception is Meitei where nasal clusters need not be homorganic.
Tones are ignored. (Punjabi, Dogri, Meitei, Boro)
An Assamese or Bodo voicebank cannot accommodate other languages due to some unique features: <u>=/ʊ/ or /ɯ/ respectively, and <uu>=/u/. And because the <t> series is alveolar, not dental or retroflex. Adding compatible distinctions for all these in the phoneme bank would make things too complicated.
Kashmiri's palatalised consonants are approximated as clusters with <y>, which require the "handpicked clusters" option.
